Southern Los Angeles was struck with a 3.7 magnitude earthquake on Wednesday. This caused slight tremors in the region. The U.S Geological Survey said that the earthquake rattled an area near Windsor Hills and Baldwin Hills at 12:03 a.m. local time. Minimum shaking was felt across the Los Angeles Basin.
No damage or injuries were reported.
Mayor Eric Garcetti tweeted that the L.A. Fire Department had been “activated to conduct its routine survey of the city to assess for any damages.”
A 3.8 earthquake shook the L.A. area tonight shortly after midnight. Our @LAFD has activated to conduct its routine survey of the city to assess for any damages. City teams will continue to monitor.

The tremor was felt in the first few minutes of the Earth Day. 22nd April is celebrated as the Earth day.
