A San Francisco-based cyber security startup, founded and run by an Indian American, has won the prestigious “Most Innovative in Digital Rights Management” in the 9th Annual Global InfoSec Awards at #RSAC 2021.
i2Chain is a startup from Bay Area focused on securing information and identity using the immutable ledger, access rights, and advanced cryptography.

The Global InfoSec Awards is one of the sought-after awards in the cyber security industry presented by Cyber Defense Magazine (CDM), the industry’s leading electronic information security magazine. So there is a tight competition to win the award year after year
Jotwani said, “We knew the competition would be tough, and with top judges who are leading infosec experts from around the globe, we couldn’t be more pleased.”
Gary S. Miliefsky, Publisher of Cyber Defense Magazine said, “i2Chain embodies three major features we judges look for to become winners: understanding tomorrow’s threats, today, providing a cost-effective solution and innovating in unexpected ways that can help stop the next breach.”
i2Chain’s Co-founder, SVP & CISO, Dave Swan adds, “We are excited to have won this award and the recognition of our contribution to securing the information assets of our customers.”
He added, “Protecting key information assets, regulatory compliance, and reducing risk to corporate brand and revenue is always on the agenda of today’s executive and board meetings. We are proud to be enabling these protections.”
The company delivers secure and privacy-compliant clouds, folders, and files to banking, financial services, healthcare, and military entities that share PII, PHI or, classified information with co-processors, and ecosystem partners.
It helps encrypt documents to make them tamper-proof, enforces policies that persist within and outside the networks, and provides real-time evidence quality audit logs.
i2Chain is in the process of filing multiple patents, and Jotwani claims that i2Chain is different from traditional cybersecurity providers.
