Veridic Solutions, a private equity-backed provider of cloud and digital transformation services based in Dallas, Texas, has recruited seasoned technology executive and social entrepreneur Piyush Malik as its chief digital and transformation officer.
Based in the San Francisco Bay area, Malik is a business transformation thought leader in the domain of cloud services, data analytics and emerging technologies such as AI/ML and IoT.
Until his recruitment April 7, he was senior vice-president at a Google Cloud partner start-up SpringML for over five years. Before that, he was the worldwide big data and analytics leader at IBM, where he spent 14 years in a variety of executive and client-facing leadership roles.
Before IBM, Malik served global clients as the information integrity and governance practice leader at PricewaterhouseCoopers’ management consulting services.

Malik also serves as the national chairman of the American Society of Engineers of Indian Origin (ASEI), a four-decade-old professional organization of scientists and engineers, in addition to being the founding president of the ASEI Silicon Valley chapter since 2015.
Malik received an undergraduate degree in electronics and communications engineering and a master’s degree in management of technology from the Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi.
He has been serving the community and boards of a number of professional and nonprofit organizations for two decades, including TiE (The IndUS Entrepreneurs), IAIDQ (International Association for Data Quality), IAHV, (International Association for Human Values), OVBI (Overseas Volunteer for Better India) and ASEI.
Veridic Solutions, which is backed by Housatonic Partners and Pracinco, helps solve complex business issues with its expertise in cloud technologies, software development and IT operations (DevOps), data engineering, and machine-learning operations (ML Ops).
