Indian American presidential aspirant Vivek Ramaswamy has announced that he is dropping out of the race after finishing fourth behind Donald Trump, Ron DeSantis and Nikki Haley in the Republican caucuses in Iowa on Monday. The 38-year-old biotech millionaire said on Monday night that he will be endorsing Trump for the presidency, raising expectations that he will likely be one of the people in contention for the Trump ticket in November.
“There are two America First candidates in this race,” Ramaswamy said in his campaign suspension speech Monday night. “Earlier tonight I called Donald Trump to congratulate him on his victory and now, going forward, he will have my full endorsement.”
