Priyanka Chopra and husband Nick Jonas strolled the red carpet at the 77th Golden Globe Awards ceremony in Beverly Hills, California, Sunday night, where they were award presenters, and then had a post-show dinner together after a wardrobe change for Chopra, according to published reports.
The 37-year-old Indian actress, singer, film producer, and the winner of the Miss World 2000 pageant, posted photos of the couple on Instagram, writing “Golden Globes 2020.”
A few days earlier, the couple rang in the new year with friends aboard a yacht in the Bahamas, according to published reports. The couple celebrated their one-year wedding anniversary in December.
Born in Jamshedpur, now Jharkhand, India, Chopra, daughter of Ashok and Madhu Chopra, both physicians in the Indian army, on Friday shared photos of the couple and friends on a beach.
“Grateful for family and friends that make everything better,” Chopra wrote on her Instagram page. “The friends around us and the ones away from us.. you were missed! I cannot wait to start this new year with all of you in our lives.”
Chopra is a practicing Hindu who performs a puja every morning at a small shrine consisting of various murtis of Hindu deities in her home and on the road, according to published reports.
Chopra and Jonas were engaged in August 2018 in a Punjabi Roka ceremony in December 2018 and married at Umaid Bhawan Palace Jodhpur in traditional Hindu and Christian ceremonies, reports said.
Jonas, 27, is an American singer, songwriter and actor born in Dallas, Texas.
