Data Safeguard Inc., a provider of data privacy solutions released its flagship product ID-REDACT on the Microsoft Azure platform to serve small to medium-sized businesses as well as individual customers.

ID-REDACT is the firm’s flagship data privacy compliance product that helps redact personally identifiable information (PII) to empower businesses and individuals to protect their customers’ identities by redacting from real-time, historical, and individual environments. The eCommerce channel product offering is now live on its website – https://www.datasafeguard.ai/storefront.

The Data Safeguard team is comprised of Silicon Valley serial entrepreneurs and experienced business and technology executives. The firm’s expertise is rooted in years of industry experience at some of the world’s top companies in the financial services, healthcare, retail, and technology segments in data privacy, as well as synthetic fraud, risk management, artificial intelligence, and machine learning.

“We are excited to offer this new service to our customers,” said Sudhir Sahu, CEO of Data Safeguard Inc. ID-REDACT supports global enterprises, small to medium businesses as well as individuals, and can be integrated into any online payment system. Users simply need to upload their documents to ID-REDACT and let Artificial Intelligence automatically redact all PII data elements from the documents.

Data Privacy, also known as information privacy, is an area of data protection that concerns the proper handling of sensitive data, including, notably, personally identifiable information but also other confidential data. The data privacy products of Data Safeguard ensure automated redaction and masking using Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning technology where necessary within the data ecosystem as well as help meet GDPR, NIST, HIPPA, CCPA, and other regulatory and compliance requirements.

“We are committed to protecting our customers’ personally identifiable information and this is just one more way we are doing that,” said Sahu. “ID-REDACT is an important part of our overall Data Privacy compliance solution strategy.”

Led by FFB Bank, the firm completed its seed funding round in July 2023. The funds will be instrumental in fueling the company’s growth initiatives, enhancing product features, and fortifying its position as a trusted leader in redacting sensitive and personally identifiable information data elements in complex enterprise data environments.

As part of the funding agreement, Data Safeguard will continue to leverage FFB Bank to drive its strategic vision forward. With a shared commitment to customer-centric innovation, Data Safeguard aims to revolutionize data protection practices and establish new standards of excellence in the industry.

“This investment marks the beginning of an exciting chapter for Data Safeguard,” Sahu said. “In addition to FFB Bank, we are actively exploring partnerships with several other strategic investors who share our vision of a safer digital world. Together, we will unlock new possibilities and push the boundaries of data privacy solutions.”
