iNDICA NEWS BUREAU-
The Broward County Ground in Florida will host two T20 cricket matches between India and West Indies on August 6 and August 7.
India and West Indies will play three ODI matches and five T20I matches, as part of India’s West Indies tour, the Cricket West Indies (CWI) and the BCCI (Board of Control for Cricket in India) announced on Wednesday.
The last two matches of the five-match T20I series have been scheduled at the Florida field.
The three ODIs will be played on July 22, 24 and 27, respectively at Port of Spain’s (Trinidad & Tobago) iconic Queen’s Park Oval.
The first T20I match will also be played at the Brian Lara Stadium in Port of Spain on July 29.
Two matches have been scheduled at Warner Park in Saint Kitts and Nevis on August 1 and 2.
The move to schedule the final two matches in Florida is being seen as an attempt to woo the Indian cricket enthusiast based in the US.
Indian cricketers will leave for the West Indies tour right after it finishes the last leg of its England tour on July 17.
The West Indies tour will begin on July 22 and conclude with the final match on August 7 in Florida.
