The Merced County Sheriff’s Office in California is investigating the kidnapping of four people including an 8-month-old baby. Merced County is 101 miles south-east of San Jose, CA.
According to local media reports, all four are family. The baby is Aroohi Dheri, the mom is Jasleen Kaur, 27, the father Jasdeep Singh, 36, and an uncle Amandeep Singh, 39.
Local media outlets quoted the sheriff’s office as saying that all were taken against their will from a business near the 800 block of South Highway 59. Officials have released a photo of the suspect who they believe to be armed and dangerous.
The sheriff’s office described the suspect to be a light skin adult man with a shaved head. He was last seen wearing a black and grey hoodie.
