Infosys co-founder Kris Gopalakrishnan’s family office, Pratithi, has reportedly invested in Myelin Foundry, a Bengaluru-based deep-tech startup.

Myelin had raised $1 million in a seed funding round in September 2019 led by Endiya Partners.

According to the startup, the funds from the latest round will be used for expansion into the Indian and international OTT (streaming services) market.

“Myelin is at the leading edge of AI/ML based solutions. They are creating solutions that will change industries and Pratithi is happy to support the executive leadership of Myelin on this journey,” Gopalakrishnan was quoted as saying.

Former Tata Sons CTO Dr Gopichand Katragadda, along with Ganesh Suryanarayanan and Aditi Olemann, founded Myelin Foundry in January 2019.

The company makes algorithms on video, voice, and sensor for devices such as mobile phones, tablets, or laptops.
