iNDICA NEWS BUREAU-
Social media users were quick to respond to a new Kamala Harris video, which was published early on November 27.
While Harris, who lost to Trump in the November 5 Presidential elections, urged Americans to stay strong, taking a swipe at the President-elect and Republican Party, several social media users questioned Harris’ current state.
In the 29-second video, the U.S. Vice President said: “I just have to remind you, don’t let anybody take your power from you. You have the same power that you did before November 5, and you have the same purpose that you did. And you have the same ability to engage and inspire. So don’t ever let anybody or any circumstance take your power from you.”
The video was posted on the official handle of the Democratic Party.
Harris’ speech sounded off to many, who inquired if she made the short speech under influence.
“Have you been drinking?” one X user questioned.
“Be honest… Is she drunk?” another asked.
A third user was quick to submit an opinion, stating, “My God, someone, please take that drunk to an AA meeting fast!”
Some also questioned the timing and motive behind the video.
“Why would the Democrats put this video out of a clearly drunk Kamala?? They want her career over,” a user said.
Another said: “Why would you release a video in which she’s this drunk.”
Harris, who took over the Democratic mantle from President and former candidate Joe Biden, lost comprehensively to Donald Trump, who made a stunning comeback to the White House.
Trump is only the second American President in history to win two non-consecutive terms.
