Couple that with the fact that she is up against a flagrantly abusive opponent in former President Donald Trump, who is unencumbered by civility, and one wonders where her hope comes from.
Politics, of course, is inherently unpredictable but the prospects of her beating Trump in today’s crucial primary in the relatively moderate state of New Hampshire where he has widened his double-digit lead remain questionable.
