Nvidia’s Jensen Huang lauds PM Modi as incredible student who seeks to democratize AI in India

Prime Minister Narendra Modi is an incredible student who always seeks to not only learn more about artificial intelligence (AI) and chip technologies but also how to democratize technology for the larger benefits of society as well as industry, Jensen Huang, Founder, President and CEO of graphics chip giant Nvidia, said.

After attending the CEOs’ roundtable with Modi in the presence of fellow tech leaders, Huang said AI is a new industry, offering several manufacturing opportunities and he is looking forward to “partnering with India in a very deep way to make that possible”.

CEOs express optimism after meeting PM Modi

Prime Minister Narendra Modi met with the top technology and biosciences leaders after outlining his vision of making India a technology powerhouse at a rally of the diaspora in New York on Sunday, September 22.

After the meeting with 15 CEOs from chip design and manufacture, IT, and biosciences fields on Sunday, he posted on X that he was “glad to see immense optimism towards India”.

Earlier, PM Modi was listed as a speaker at the September 26 session of the Assembly high-level meeting, but it would appear he will not remain all through the high-level meeting that follows the Summit of the Future and runs from September 24 to 30.
