President Biden and VP Harris will defeat Trump-Vance in 2024 election, says Ajay Bhutoria

The Deputy National Finance Chair of the Democratic National Committee (DNC), Ajay Bhutoria, underscored the importance of Democratic unity and focus heading into the upcoming election. Bhutoria emphasized that the choice in 2024 is clear, endorsing President Biden and Vice President Harris.

He said the duo represent the path forward for America, while their opponents, Donald Trump and JD Vance, threaten to reverse progress and impose a regressive agenda.

“All Democrats, including elected officials at every level, members of Congress, and the Senate, must channel their energy into highlighting the stark differences between President Biden’s record of achievement and the destructive agenda outlined in Trump’s Project 2025,” stated Bhutoria.

Project 2025, as articulated by him, paints a dire picture of a potential Trump presidency, including threats to reproductive rights, healthcare access, social security, Medicare, and economic fairness. The plan also highlights risks to national security alliances and environmental protections, Bhutoria said.

In a recent address in Detroit, President Biden outlined his ambitious 100-day plan for 2025, reaffirming commitments to restore Roe v. Wade protections, advance voting rights legislation, tackle medical debt, raise the minimum wage, and lead globally on climate action and clean energy initiatives.

“We’re not just campaigning against an opponent; we’re fighting for the soul of our nation,” Bhutoria added. “President Biden is our candidate because he stands for the values and progress that benefit all Americans.”

Bhutoria urged Democratic Party leaders, pundits, and advocates to concentrate their efforts on discussing the tangible impacts of Trump’s policies and contrasting them with Biden-Harris achievements. He emphasized the importance of reaching voters with a clear message about the future direction of the country.

“Through 57 caucuses and primaries, Joe Biden has demonstrated broad support, receiving 14 million votes and over 3,900 delegates,” Bhutoria added. “It’s imperative that every voice within the Democratic Party unites in this critical moment to defend our progress and shape a better future for all Americans.”
