Today, 7th February, is Rose Day, when lovers express their love for each other.
It marks the beginning of Valentine’s week, so basically, it’s a preparation for a propose.
The week starts February 7 and ends on February 14. It is with the Rose Day followed by Propose Day, Chocolate Day, Teddy Day, Promise Day, Hug Day, Kiss Day and ends with the Valentine’s Day.
My love is for the Indian people ( among whom I include Pakistanis and Bangladeshis, as I regard Pakistan and Bangladesh as part of India, only temporarily separated, but which are bound to peacefully reunite with India, like West and East Germany ).
So Happy Rose Day to all Indians.
Arduous and full of turbulence and pain as is your path for the next 10-15 years, and in which many patriots will have to sacrifice their lives, as in the great British, American, French, Russian and Chinese Revolutions, the future thereafter is bright and prosperous, when all of you will get decent lives.
I won’t be around to see that rosy future, as I am already 73, but my best wishes will always be with you.
