Shweta Singh Kirti, sister of Bollywood actor Sushant Singh Rajput, is not giving up. She is making sure the world becomes aware of the circumstances around her brother’s unfortunate death.
She is asking for justice not just from India’s apex court, where the family has demanded a federal probe into Sushant’s death in June this year, but has launched a global #JusticeForSushantSinghRajput campaign on social media.
A billboard has also come up in Milpitas, California, not far from offices of companies such as Tesla and Cisco, on the campaign.
Shweta, who lives in the San Francisco Bay Area, tweeted about the digital billboard in Milpitas. At present, Shweta is in India working day and night asking social media followers to keep up the momentum seeking justice.
“Bhai’s Billboard in California…It’s up on 880 north, right after the great mall parkway exit. It’s a worldwide movement. #warriors4ssr #justiceforsushantsinghrajput #worldforsushant.”
The billboard shows a smiling Sushant and the message says: “#Justice For Sushant Singh Rajput. 1986-2020.”
Friends who know Shweta said she has taken it up as her mission.
Shweta has launched another campaign on Facebook, and called for a global prayer on August 15: “Post a pic of yours with folded hands and join the campaign #GlobalPrayers4SSR at 10 am(IST) on 15th August. Let’s Pray together for truth to shine forth.”
