Singer Pink  who tested positive for Covid-19 has announced that she will be donating $500,000 to two emergency funds to fight the deadly coronavirus. Singer Pink said that she and her three-year-old son were tested positive for coronavirus. After this they were sheltering at home, they were tested again for the coronavirus and their tests came negative. 

The Grammy Award winner singer has said that widespread testing is necessary to combat coronavirus effectively and the government should make testing easier for people. 

Pink said: “It is an absolute travesty and failure of our government to not make testing more widely accessible, this illness is serious and real. People need to know that the illness affects the young and old, healthy and unhealthy, rich and poor, and we must make testing free and more widely accessible to protect our children, our families, our friends and our communities.”

Pink has announced that she is donating $1 million to two coronavirus-related relief funds. She has said that the next two weeks are crucial and people should stay at home to combat the disease.
