Operation Ajay: Flight carrying 212 Indians from Israel lands in Delhi

A flight carrying the first batch of Indians that were stranded in Israel amid the country’s ongoing war with Hamas, landed in New Delhi on Friday morning IST as part of ‘Operation Ajay’. The Indian nationals (pictured above; photo courtesy IANS) were welcomed by Union information and technology minister Rajeev Chandrasekhar. He also interacted with some of the returning students.

PM Modi, President Biden start bilateral talks at White House

Prime Minister Narendra Modi and US President Joe Biden started their bilateral talks on Thursday at the White House. PM Modi and President Biden are having a one-on-one meeting in the Oval Office of the White House before holding high-level talks to further boost the growing Indo-US strategic relations in areas like defence, space, clean energy and critical technologies. Ahead of the bilateral talks, PM Modi said that he is confident that the discussions between the two leaders will further strengthen India-USA relations.
