India’s Minister of Commerce and Industry Piyush Goyal on Wednesday launched the ‘US-India Trade Desk’, ‘Catalyze (a chartered accountants focused newsletter) and ‘EmpowerHER Network’ to acknowledge women chartered accountants in the US. He was present at ‘Charting New Horizons: CAs as Catalysts in the US-India Partnership’ event hosted by the San Francisco Chapter of The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI San Francisco) on November 15 in Palo Alto, California.
The San Francisco Chapter of The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI San Francisco) and the Consulate General of India San Francisco jointly hosted the Indian delegation of Directorate General of Foreign Trade that visited Las Vegas recently. ICAI San Francisco Representatives in Las Vegas helped the visitors interact and network with local entrepreneurs, businessmen, and educators.

With an aim to expand its footprint in the US, the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) inaugurated its eighth overseas chapter in Arizona on March 31, 2023.
This is the 45th overseas chapter of ICAI globally and one of the three new chapters in the US that had been announced by the ICAI president, CA. Aniket Sunil Talati. The other two are scheduled to be opened in Seattle and Ohio.
It was a historic moment for the San Francisco Chapter of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India, when Piyush Goyal, India’s Minister of Commerce and Industry launched the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) in six regions in the United States. He inaugurated the chapters at the Four Seasons Hotel Silicon Valley at East Palo Alto, California.
