Indian-origin Silicon Valley professionals launch Indian Engineers Without Borders

A new nonprofit of, for, and by Indian-origin engineers ‘Indian Engineers Without Borders’ (IEWB) was launched by Indian Professional Without Borders, a global organization for professionals of Indian origin, on February 10 in California. The Silicon Valley-based organization said it aims to build a culture of collaboration and innovation between engineers of Indian origin worldwide. India’s Consul General in San Francisco Dr K. Srikar Reddy was the chief guest while Dr. Shailendra Joshi, former chief secretary and advisor to the Government of Telangana, India, was the keynote speaker.

Silicon Valley legend Venkatesh Shukla honored by alma mater in India

Silicon Valley-based Indian American venture capitalist and entrepreneur Venkatesh Shukla was honored with the Distinguished Alumnus Award by the Maulana Azad National Institute of Technology (MANIT) for his achievements. The institute held its 19th and 20th convocation ceremony on November 25, marking the completion of graduation, post-graduation, and PhD degrees of 3177 students in 2022 and 2023.
