Times Square in NYC echoes with Bhajans in celebrations of Ram Lalla’s Pran Pratishtha
The Indian diaspora illuminated Times Square in New York City with the picture of Lord Ram in New York and chanted Shree Ram Bhajans and songs to showcase the cultural heritage and vibrancy of their home country. The Indian community, which turned out in huge numbers for the celebrations, wore traditional Indian attire and were seen holding saffron flags with Shree Ram portraits inscribed on them.
Modi supporters among Indian diaspora plan blitz to welcome PM
Several BJP-friendly and other Indian American community organizations have planned a blitz to welcome and honor him during his state visit to Washington DC at the invitation of President Joe Biden. Biden is scheduled to host Modi at an official State Dinner on June 22, while and US House Speaker Kevin McCarthy and Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer have invited him to address a joint session of Congress.
