Many people, particularly the Indian political leaders, and their adulatory acolytes, hirelings speak in glowing terms of the Indian economy, and boast that it is the fastest growing economy in the world, and in a few years time India will have the second largest economy in the world, surpassing China.
But what is the truth? The truth is revealed in these links.
As mentioned therein, the Indian economy was really a paper tiger, an economic bubble which was bound to collapse at the slightest pinprick.
It was a balloon built on Goebbelsian propaganda and a narrative created by hype and noise by our kowtowing sycophants and hirelings, who support India’s ruling dispensation.
And now the balloon has been burst by a single prick viz the restrictions China has imposed on its exports of technical equipment to India which are vital for the Indian economy.
Recently China has stopped export to India of crucial equipment and components for electronics, electric vehicles, solar panels, and other sectors of the Indian economy, thus choking these sectors.
The truth is that the Indian economy was always frail and fragile, and built on a foundation of external dependencies. In particular, India’s economic growth was largely dependent on Chinese technological exports to India and foreign investment.
India’s manufacturing base, technological infrastructure, and industrial capacity is nowhere near that of China. China’s GDP is about 17.8 trillion dollars (according to the World Bank), while India’s is barely 3.5 trillion dollars (GDP of USA is 27.4 trillion dollars). So, China is at least 5 times ahead of India economically.
Chinese political leaders focus on economic growth, while our political leaders focus on building Ram Temple, Kumbh Mela, cow protection, and polarizing society on caste and communal basis, to get votes.
The very fact that by stopping it’s exports of vital technical equipment to India China can stop India’s economic growth means that India does not have the know-how to manufacture such vital equipment, and thus is far behind China.
As for the propaganda about the Indian economy by many of our adulatory, kowtowing and hirelings, and other sycophants of the Indian government, here is the truth.
There is an adage: you can fool some people all the time, and all the people for some time, but not all people all the time. The attempt by our leaders and their sycophants and hirelings to fool all Indians, as well as the whole world, all the time, about our economy by Goebbelsian propaganda, has only resulted in their being laughed at, discomfiture, and coming a cropper.
